SpeedBox - double the speed limit of your e-bike

SpeedBox 1.2 enables you to double the speed limit of an e-bike from the original 25 km/h to 50 km/h. When in use, the actual speed will appear on your display up to 23 km/h. The display also shows your trip and other aspects of your ride.

How does SpeedBox 1.2 work?

SpeedBox 1.2 tuning kit can be activated on the e-bike’s control unit. After pressing the LIGHT button, the active lights icon will be displayed shortly after which you will be able to ride at a speed of 50 km/h. The chip is deactivated by pressing the LIGHT button again.

By attaching the Light cable for Bafang, you can use the SpeedBox and your lights at the same time.

Lamp Cable

By attaching this simple connector, you can use the SpeedBox 1.0, 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 for Bafang and your lights at the same time.

SpeedBox for BAFANG allows you to use only one of your lights. When you use this cable, you can use both lights.

For SpeedBox 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3 for Bafang. The cable is not needed for SpeedBox 3.0 and 3.1.

The cable is normally not included but can be ordered as an accessory.

Assembly

When connecting the SpeedBox chip to an e-bike you will find connectors colored to make installation very simple. We have prepared detailed instructions and videos to make installation easy for you in the comfort of your home. Disassembly of our tuning chip is just as easy. If you have any troubles with the installation or disassembly, do not hesitate to contact us.

If you are planning to install SpeedBox on a brand-new bike, make sure you ride it for at least 1 km before the chip is activated.

The installation procedure is the same for both versions, 3-pin and 4-pin. The only difference is in the number of pins in the connector on the cable to the speed sensor. Furthermore, the B.Tuning version uses Bluetooth technology to connect your e-bike to your smartphone.

We strongly recommend using other safety features and protective gear to prevent injuries.

NOTE: In case of updating the software of your e-bike, uninstall SpeedBox from the e-bike first, update the software and reinstall SpeedBox.
