The BitMag puts the bits where they are needed: on the tool. The bit holder screws into the belt clip hole of the driver, and five bits sit magnetically in their slots — visible, sorted and swapped with one hand without putting the tool down or pulling the gloves off. Screws for the major tool makes are included.
Every slot has its own magnet that holds the bit through impacts, vibration and work upside down — even in the cold. The holder is injection moulded in glass fibre reinforced composite and mounts on either side at any angle. Available in black, blue, green, red and yellow — choose the colour when ordering. Genuine product, designed and made in Sweden.
What does the BitMag do to the workflow?
It removes the searching: the bit change is the most common interruption of driver work — pocket searched, bag opened, glove pulled off — and the BitMag cuts it to one hand movement. The bit needed sits at eye height on the tool, the old one presses back onto its magnet, the new one pulls off. The tool never changes hands, the glove stays on and no bits drop into the chips.
How the BitMag mounts on the tool
In the belt clip screw hole found on most 18V tools: the included screws fit Makita, DeWalt, Milwaukee, Bosch, Festool, HiKOKI/Hitachi and Metabo HPT among others, and the holder can sit on either side at the angle that suits the grip. Tools without a clip hole — and surfaces like the van panel or the tool box — take the holder via double-sided foam tape or construction adhesive.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Which tools does the BitMag magnetic bit holder fit?
Most drill drivers, impact drivers and drills with a belt clip screw hole — the included screws cover Makita, DeWalt, Milwaukee, Bosch, Festool, HiKOKI and Metabo HPT among others. Milwaukee M12 needs a longer M2.5 screw with spacer washers, and tools entirely without a clip hole mount with double-sided foam tape.
Do the colours differ in function?
No, all five colours are the same holder: the same glass fibre reinforced composite, the same five magnet slots and the same mounting. The colour is chosen to match the tool brand — blue for Makita and Bosch, yellow for DeWalt, red for Milwaukee, green for Festool and HiKOKI — or as a recognition colour when several tools each carry one.
What sets the BitMag apart from the built-in bit holder on the tool?
Capacity and grip: the built-in holder takes a single bit and is far from present on every tool, while the BitMag lines up five — the assortment for the whole job instead of one spare. The slots are also angled for one-handed changes in gloves, which the built-in pocket rarely allows.
