This professional building foil tape is a high-performance sealing tape designed for vapor barriers and vapor checks. It also works as a reliable mounting tape for wind barriers, roof underlay and wall membranes. Thanks to its high adhesion on most substrates and aging resistance, it is ideal for renovations, new construction, roofing and paper tape applications on felt roofs and similar constructions. Use it to join sheets and seal pipe penetrations for long-term airtight and watertight performance.
IZOTAPE® from the 4ROOF® family is engineered for joining, repairing and sealing roof and wall assemblies. Carefully selected materials such as HDPE, LDPE and acrylic dispersion deliver strong resistance to weather, UV and wear. The tapes are easy to use and follow European rules according to DIN 4108—perfect for vapor barriers, windproofing, roofing and renovation work.

Maximum outdoor exposure time is 3 months in Central Europe. Surfaces must be strong, dry and free of dust and grease, and the substrate must not be resistant to the adhesive. Clean surfaces and membranes before use and perform adhesion tests.
Finished joints must not be in standing water or under constant mechanical load. Wrinkles and tensions in membranes and tapes should be relieved with cuts, which are then taped over. Avoid unusual stresses.
Bonding must not be carried out on multilayer membranes or on surfaces lacking sufficient internal strength. Bonding in sauna or pool constructions voids warranty. In cases of incorrect or unprofessional handling, or when safe bonding conditions are not met (poor substrate), the warranty may be void.
