StealthMounts battery mounts for Milwaukee M12 give the compact batteries the same order as the big ones: the battery clicks into the mount, hangs securely at any angle and only releases when the button on the battery is pressed. Six mounts give the whole M12 fleet its own row by the charger.

Yes, the mount is moulded around the interface and catch of the M12 platform, so batteries of different capacities click in as on the tool — compact packs as well as XC batteries with larger cell packs. Milwaukee M18 batteries use a completely different interface and do not fit.

Does the M12 battery stay in the StealthMounts mount in the van?

Yes, the battery is mechanically locked in the mount and only comes off via the release button on the battery. The mount can be fitted at any angle, even upside down, and the compact batteries hang on through potholes and braking.

What sets the StealthMounts M12 mount apart from the M18 mount?

The interface: M12 batteries are pod-style packs with their own catch, while M18 batteries slide onto a wider rail — the two formats are not interchangeable in either direction.
