StealthMounts battery mounts for Ridgid and AEG 18V give the batteries of both brands a fixed dock: the battery slides onto the mount, locks with its own catch and hangs securely at any angle until the release button is pressed. One and the same mount covers both names.

The mounts are injection moulded in ABS with countersunk screw holes for fixing on walls, under shelves or on the van panel. Six black mounts per pack. Made in Great Britain. Genuine product, supplied through official European distribution.

One mount for two brands — Ridgid and AEG

The background is simple: Ridgid machines are sold in Europe under the AEG name, and the 18V batteries share the same rail and catch whichever name is on the shell. The mount is moulded around that shared rail, so AEG batteries bought at home and Ridgid batteries from across the Atlantic click into exactly the same dock.

Where do the AEG mounts earn their place?

By the charging station in the workshop, under shelving and in the van fit-out — wherever the batteries should hang sorted by charge status instead of lying in drawers. The AEG fleet spans drivers to saws on the same battery, and six mounts cover a charging row in the workshop and secured storage in the van at once.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Do StealthMounts battery mounts fit both AEG and Ridgid batteries?

Yes, Ridgid and AEG share the same 18V platform with an identical rail and catch — it is one machine family under two names on different markets. Batteries of different capacities from both brands click into the mount just as on the tool.

Does the AEG battery stay in a StealthMounts mount fitted upside down?

Yes, the battery is mechanically locked in the mount and only comes off via the release button on the battery. The mount can be fitted at any angle — wall, shelf underside or vehicle ceiling — and the battery hangs on while driving.

What sets the StealthMounts AEG mount apart from a universal battery holder?

The fit: a universal holder must take many makes and therefore holds none of them properly, while this mount is moulded exactly around the Ridgid/AEG rail and locks the battery with its own catch. The battery hangs mechanically locked — not resting on a plastic shelf.
