This cable reel with 25 m of 3 x 1.5 mm² cable has a metal drum and four earthed sockets, and is built for sites where several machines are powered from one point.

IP44 protection covers objects over 1 mm and water splashes from all directions. The limited load with the cable wound decides what can be connected.

Why electricians and builders choose cable reel 46653

The metal drum and four earthed sockets suit work where several tools run at one location. The 25 m cable in 3 x 1.5 mm² gives reach from a single mains outlet.

Maximum load is 920 W 4 A with the cable wound. With the cable fully extended a higher load is permitted, so the cable should normally be unrolled completely for heavier loads.

Is cable reel 46653 suited to building sites and workshops?

Yes, IP44 protects against objects over 1 mm and water splashes from all directions, which suits outdoor work without direct jetting and workshop environments. The reel is packed in a cardboard box.

The protection class does not cover pressure washing or immersion, and a wound cable limits the load to 920 W 4 A.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Does cable reel 46653 work with the cable wound at higher loads?

No, with the cable wound the maximum load is 920 W 4 A. Cable reel 46653 should be fully unrolled for heavier loads, as a higher load is then permitted.

What distinguishes cable reel 46653 from other cable reels?

Cable reel 46653 combines a metal drum, 25 m of 3 x 1.5 mm² cable, four earthed sockets and IP44 protection. This gives splash protection and several sockets on one drum.
