Protection comes from a kickback safety brake, a dual trigger lock and overheating protection for the electronics. An LCD display shows the battery charge level.

When does Chainsaw W04538 make the most sense?

When wood is cut without a mains socket and the branches and trunks are thinner than 25 cm. The maximum cutting length of 25 cm sets the limit for what can be cut in one pass, even though the guide bar is 12" (30 cm). The saw runs on 20 V from the Share+ System, and battery and charger are bought separately because they are not included.

The chain is tensioned without tools and lubricated automatically from a 70 ml oil tank.

Applications for Chainsaw W04538

The chainsaw is built for cutting wood, and these features decide what it is used for:

• Cutting wood at a chain speed of 10.5 m/s with a 12" (30 cm) guide bar.
• Cuts up to a maximum cutting length of 25 cm.
• Work without a mains socket on 20 V battery power.
• Operation with a Li-ion battery in the Share+ System.
