The Unicraft wall fan moves up to 10,260 m³/h at an outlet speed of 8 m/s from a 650 mm impeller. It mounts high on a wall or column and blows down across the work area, keeping the floor clear and producing an air stream that reaches deep into the building.
The impeller has three balanced steel blades driven by a 123 W motor running on standard 230 V. Two speed settings give 9,587 and 10,260 m³/h respectively, with the motor turning at 1,400 rpm. The cable is 1.8 m long.
The fan head tilts on two axes, vertically and horizontally, so the air stream can be aimed precisely at the work area even when the fan sits in a corner or high up. The wall bracket is included.
Why workshops choose a wall-mounted industrial fan
Because it cools without taking up floor space. A floor fan gets in the way of forklifts, trolleys and work tasks, whereas a 650 mm wall fan sits overhead and covers the same area. The steel blades cope with dust and dirt in workshop conditions better than plastic, and at 123 W consumption is low for the volume of air moved.
Applications for the wall fan
The fan is used to cool workstations in workshops and production halls through summer, circulate air in warehouses and gyms, and even out temperature in buildings with ceiling heating where warm air otherwise stagnates under the roof. It suits garages, machinery buildings and retail stockrooms equally well.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Can the Unicraft WV 601-2 O wall fan be installed in damp areas or outdoors?
No. The motor is rated IP20, which means protection against touch but none against water or moisture. The fan should therefore not be fitted in wash bays, livestock buildings that are hosed down, outdoors or in areas with condensation. It is intended for dry indoor spaces such as workshops, warehouses and halls. The 1.8 m cable also calls for a socket close to the mounting point or a fixed installation.
What does mounting the Unicraft WV 601-2 O on a wall require?
Load-bearing structure. The fan weighs 15.1 kg and vibrates in operation, so the supplied bracket should be anchored into concrete, brick, a steel column or a heavy timber stud — not plasterboard or thin board. Mount it high enough that the 650 mm impeller cannot be reached during normal work, and within 1.8 m of a socket. Then tilt the head on both axes towards the area to be cooled.
What separates the Unicraft WV 601-2 O from an axial fan fitted in a wall opening?
The job it does. An axial fan in a wall opening exchanges air between inside and outside, whereas the WV 601-2 O hangs on the wall and circulates air within the building. It does not ventilate away heat or pollutants, but creates an 8 m/s air stream that cools staff and evens out temperature. Where air needs replacing, ventilation is required; where it only needs moving, a wall fan is enough.
