Socio-Political Magazine Wolni i Solidarni No. 3 Autumn 2023, Beast

Wolni i Solidarni No. 3, Autumn 2023, from Beast is a socio-political quarterly that publishes the central content of debates. The idea for the magazine arose after a debate in February.

The title of the first issue refers to the organisation Fighting Solidarity, founded in 1982 by Kornel Morawiecki, which declared its intent to remove the communists from power. The issue includes, among other things:

• comments on the election result
• a debate transcript on Kornel Morawiecki's solidarism, between history and the present
• an article on why populism is growing in liberal democracies
• a text on the circles of power in Russia
• poems
• a historical article on whether the peoples of the areas taken from the former Polish state wanted an independent Poland
• reviews and discussions
