Replacement tip made of pure copper for the MP-51 soldering iron, in the HQ Long Life version with a pencil point shape, measuring 3 mm in diameter and 10.3 mm in length. The tip is iron-plated and therefore considerably more durable than regular copper tips. Made by MODPRO.

The tip conducts heat very well and is factory pre-tinned, which improves performance. The outer chrome plating makes the tip corrosion free. A good Long Life tip reduces solder joint failures and increases soldering output.

Long Life tips must not be filed, as this damages the tip structure.
