The Beta BW 2400S/7 is a mobile roller cab supplied complete with a 114-piece tool assortment. The cab features seven drawers with the same outer dimensions (588 × 367 mm) but in three different heights: five drawers at 70 mm for small items, one drawer at 140 mm for medium-sized tools, and one drawer at 210 mm for larger tools and accessories. All drawers are fitted with ball-bearing slides for smooth opening even under full load, and the drawer bases are protected with foamed rubber that absorbs noise and keeps the tools in place during movement.
The construction is sized for demanding workshop use with a static load capacity of 800 kg. The cab rolls on four 125 mm diameter castors – two fixed rear castors providing directional stability and two steering front castors for manoeuvring in tight spaces, one with a brake for safe parking on sloping floors. The front-mounted central lock secures all seven drawers with a single key turn. The worktop is made from thermoplastic that withstands mechanical impact, oil and most common workshop chemicals, and a built-in bottle holder on the side provides space for a water bottle without occupying worktop area.
The 114-piece tool assortment focuses on precision and breadth in spanner and socket sizes. Two module trays sit directly in the drawers: one with 22 combination spanners (6–36 mm) and one with 25 screwdrivers – including 12 Torx screwdrivers (T6–T45) and a voltage tester. Two complete socket sets are supplied in hard plastic cases: a 1/4" set (Beta 903E/C42, 42 pieces) with 13 sockets, 18 bits, 4 hex keys and 7 accessories, plus a 1/2" set (Beta 923E/C25, 25 pieces) with 20 sockets (8–32 mm) and accessories. The cab is painted in Beta red (RAL 2011).
This package focuses on a curated tool set where each piece has a purpose rather than a broad assortment with many duplicates. The 22 combination spanners cover sizes up to 36 mm, markedly larger than the 189-tool package which ends at 24 mm – this package therefore suits work with larger bolt joints found on trucks, agricultural machinery and heavier vehicles. The screwdriver tray includes a complete Torx set with 12 screwdrivers (T6–T45) plus a voltage tester – relevant for modern vehicles and electrical installations where Torx screws and voltage checking are more common than traditional slotted and Phillips screws. The hard plastic socket cases protect the tools during transport and make it easy to take a complete set out into the field. The package suits workshops and technicians who value breadth in core tools over volume of cheaper accessories.
The cab suits car workshops, truck workshops, bus workshops, agricultural machinery service, mobile service vehicles (with separate securing), industrial maintenance and mechanical workshops where larger bolt joints occur. The range of combination spanners up to 36 mm is sized for heavier vehicles and industrial machinery – not just passenger cars. The Torx screwdriver set is particularly relevant for modern vehicles where manufacturers such as BMW, Volvo and Mercedes use Torx screws extensively. The socket sets in plastic cases can be taken into the field without unpacking the cab. For work requiring striking tools, pliers or hammers, the package is supplemented separately – this package focuses on spanner and socket work.

All three packages are delivered with the same BW 2400S/7 roller cab – the difference lies in the tool assortment composition. The 114-tool package focuses on breadth in core tools: combination spanners up to 36 mm (for heavier vehicles and industrial work), 12 Torx screwdrivers (T6–T45) plus voltage tester, and two complete socket sets in hard plastic cases that can be taken into the field. The 189-tool package has more pieces in striking tools, pliers and bit sets, but the combination spanners only go up to 24 mm. The 240-tool package has the broadest coverage across all categories. Choose the 114-version if you work with larger bolt joints or need a complete Torx range, and the 189/240-version if you need more striking tools and pliers.
The 1/4" set Beta 903E/C42 contains 42 pieces: 13 sockets (4–14 mm), ratchet, universal joint, two extensions (50 and 100 mm), 115 mm spinner handle, 150 mm T-handle, four hex keys (1.3–2.5 mm), a bit holder adapter and 18 bits split into slotted, Phillips, Pozidriv, hex and Torx. The 1/2" set Beta 923E/C25 contains 25 pieces: 20 sockets (8–32 mm), ratchet, universal joint, two extensions (125 and 250 mm) and a 3/8"–1/2" adapter. Both sets are supplied in hard plastic cases – the 1/4" case measures 190×160×60 mm and weighs 0.95 kg, the 1/2" case measures 285×210×84 mm and weighs 3.9 kg.
The package includes a complete Torx screwdriver set (Beta 1207E/TX) with 12 screwdrivers in sizes T6, T7, T8, T9, T10, T15, T20, T25, T27, T30, T40 and T45. This is one of the most complete Torx screwdriver ranges in the Beta Worker series and covers both the smallest sizes for electronic devices and the largest for vehicle fasteners. Torx screws are used extensively in modern vehicles from manufacturers such as BMW, Volvo, Mercedes, Audi and Volkswagen – not only for bodywork but also for engines and undercarriage. In addition, Torx bits T10–T30 are included in the 1/4" socket set for use with the ratchet. Together this provides full coverage for Torx work without needing to purchase additional tools.
