SPALSADZ from Argo is a catalytic soot remover that effectively eliminates soot and coke residues through controlled combustion. Unlike other products on the market, SPALSADZ works at just 400°C, making it suitable for both wood burning (lower combustion temperature) and coal burning. The package contains 5 sachets of 1 kg each for easy dosing.
Regular use of SPALSADZ extends the lifespan of boilers, fireplaces and central heating systems by preventing accumulation of soot and deposits. Unburned hydrocarbons, including benzopyrene, are combusted together with the soot while carbon monoxide is oxidised to carbon dioxide – resulting in cleaner and safer combustion.
Soot accumulation reduces the efficiency of heating appliances and increases the risk of chimney fires. SPALSADZ solves the problem through catalytic combustion at low temperature, making it unique on the market. The product works with all types of solid fuels and requires minimal effort – simply sprinkle the powder over the fuel.
Use 1–2 kg SPALSADZ per tonne of coal for continuous protection. For wood burning, sprinkle approximately 100–200 g over the fuel at each firing for best results. Regular use eliminates the need for manual soot cleaning and keeps the heating system in optimal condition throughout the heating season.

Yes, SPALSADZ is unique in that it works at just 400°C combustion temperature. This makes it suitable for both wood burning (which has a lower combustion temperature) and coal burning. Many competing products require higher temperatures and therefore only work for coal.
For best results, SPALSADZ should be used regularly throughout the heating season. For coal burning, 1–2 kg per tonne of coal is recommended. For wood burning, sprinkle 100–200 g over the fuel at each firing or at least once a week. Continuous use prevents soot accumulation and eliminates the need for manual cleaning.
In addition to removing soot, SPALSADZ improves the combustion process by burning unburned hydrocarbons (including carcinogenic benzopyrene) and oxidising carbon monoxide to carbon dioxide. This results in cleaner exhaust gases, reduced emissions of SO2 and particles, and protects the boiler against corrosion at both high and low temperatures.
