SpeedBox is a revolutionary upgrade for your e-bike with a Shimano motor. With its new design, modern hardware, and firmware, it breathes new life into your e-bike.
(Note! This model does not include Bluetooth)
This SpeedBox 3.0 is designed to fit perfectly with e-bikes equipped with Bosch motors including Gen4 (non-smart only):
- Active Line (Plus), Cargo Line, Performance Line (Speed, CX)
Note! This model does not work if you have the so-called Smart System with or without rim magnet. These models require SpeedBox 1.1 or 1.2.

SpeedBox is very easy to use.
Activate SpeedBox 3.0 by briefly activating the walk assist function. A value of 9.9 km/h (6.2 mph) will display, allowing you to ride at speeds of 40 km/h, 50 km/h, or even over 60 km/h.
To deactivate the tuning chip, briefly activate the walk assist function again. The value 2.5 km/h (1.6 mph) will appear on your display, resetting the speed limit to 25 km/h. Your e-bike will function as it did before the chip was installed.
SpeedBox is also designed for e-bikes without a classic control unit with walk assist. In this case, use the combination of - + - + buttons to activate SpeedBox. You can deactivate SpeedBox in the same way.
You can set the maximum speed for electric assistance by switching modes: Turbo - EMTB - Tour - Eco - Tour - EMTB - Turbo. A current speed limit will display afterward. The maximum speed for electric assistance can be changed by briefly pressing the walk assist function or rotating the rear wheel 360°. A value of 1.5 km/h on the display corresponds to a limit of 15 km/h, 2 km/h to 20 km/h, 2.5 to 25 km/h, 3.0 to 30 km/h, 9.9 to 99 km/h, etc. The last shown limit is saved after 5 seconds of inactivity.

Allowing the motor in your e-bike to assist at high speeds may cause extra wear on the motor. Avoid excessive speeds. A recommended maximum speed setting is often 30-35 km/h, though it is entirely up to you.
